Did you know that there are secret name tag easter eggs? Want to know what happens when you name a mob dinnerbone?  This post is all about name tags!

Name tags are special items that are used to name mobs in the game. You can get name tags from fishing or from shipwreck chests. To use a name tag, you need an anvil. To craft an anvil, you need 4 iron ingots and 3 iron blocks. In your crafting table, put the 3 iron blocks in a row on the top 3 squares. put 1 iron ingot in the middle, and the last 3 in a row on the bottom. Now that you have your materials, we can get to the fun part. Easter eggs!!

Color changing sheep:

By naming a sheep jeb, it will turn rainbow.

If you want color changing sheep, you need to name your sheep jeb_. Make sure you spell it all lowercase and be sure to include the underscore. Even if your sheep is rainbow, it will still drop its original color of wool when sheared.

There are 2 names to make mobs turn upside down they both work the same and it doesn’t matter which one you pick. The first name is Dinnerbone. Make sure to make the D capital. The 2nd name is Grumm. Make sure the G is capital and there are 2 m’s.

Vindicator easter egg:

Did you know that you can make a vindicator attack any mob? Here’s how!

To make a vindicator attack, name it Johnny. Make sure the M is capital. Once named, the vindicator will attack any mob that comes near it, other than other illagers and ghasts.

Black and white rabbit: Did you know that you can make rabbits look different? Here’s how!

To make a rabbit turn black and white, name it Toast. Make sure the T is capital.
