There are many different game modes in minecraft. This post will tell you about them all!
Creative mode
Creative mode allows the player to fly around, with no hunger or health bar to worry about. Mobs can’t attack you in creative mode, and you have infinite resources for building. You also have acess to many other blocks, such as the command block, barrier block, jigsaw block and the structure block. These blocks can only be obtained using commands. You also have acess to all the spawn eggs for every mob.
Spectator mode
Spectator mode is currently only available in Java edition. The only current way to play on spectator mode on becrock edition is to turn on experiments. In spectator mode, the player does not have the ability to place
or break blocks, but can go through walls and see through blocks. Clicking on certian mobs in spectator mode will allow you to see the world the way they do.
Survival mode
One of the most common game modes, in survival mode the player has to gather resources and survive against hostile mobs. Unlike hardcore mode, you can choose the difficulty and have infinite lives.
Hardcore mode
Unfortunately, hardcore mode is also currently only available in Java edition. Hardcore mode is like survival mode, execpt the difficulty is locked on hard and you only have 1 life. If you die in hardcore mode, you can either spectate the world or delete it.
